Art Therapy Online with Mel Nelson-Campbell These sessions are designed to help you recover your sense of agency, purpose and identity to help build a pathway back to what matters most to you. Long term stress, unresolved trauma, wreaks havoc on our body, mind and emotions, fracturing connections to who we are, causing alienation from family, friends and most importantly, ourselves. The practice of making art provides us with many enriching therapeutic benefits from the sheer release and joy of creating art to the multiple meanings of your creation that are often deeply personal. Your art allows you to tell a story about you, where you can be seen and heard in a safe and supportive environment with an experienced practitioner. We will explore reflective practices to hold you while we hold a gentle curiosity on what is happening now, in your life, as you see it. These sessions requires your commitment to turn up online, as you are, with no pre-requisites other than a willingness to create something new, by you and for you.

Introduction into your world involving gentle discussion and sharing on where you are now
Exploring grounding techniques together to support you in session using guided meditation, music and story telling to help you feel supported and safe
A simple warm up activity to stimulate your creative brain and encourage your sense of creative exploration
Creative exploration through your own symbols within your home, using materials of your preference.
